Gans’s interest in fire trucks has lasted his entire life. This Mack Fire Truck, owned by the Abington Fire Company in Abington, Pennsylvania, caught his eye, and he went to work on capturing its many details. The pencil sketch, completed in 1977, was donated to the fire company.
