Christ Church is located in Old City, Philadelphia, PA. It stirred Gans’s interest in historical architecture, but he had a more personal connection as well. Having worked in the area for 30 years, he saw the church frequently—and his sister married in that church. This pencil work was drawn in 1975 as a wedding present.
